Colchester Academy is a thriving secondary school, looking to appoint an IT Technician to join the Trust's IT Team. The role will be based at Colchester Academy; however, you must be willing to travel to all sites within the Trust as required.

The role will involve looking after the day-to-day maintenance, installation and first line repairs of ICT equipment, as well as to provide advice and guidance to staff and students. The new technician, a member of the Trust's IT Team, will be well supported by IT colleagues across the South Suffolk Learning Trust.

We are looking for a confident, committed and flexible individual with good communication skills and excellent IT skills. Candidates should have a good knowledge of IT equipment, hardware and software. Ideally the successful candidate will have had some experience of working in a school environment or in a role providing IT support. A good standard of general education is essential, as is a sense of humour.
