Senior Higher Level Teaching Assistant - 32.08 hours per week
with an interest in teaching the Wellbeing curriculum and Environment curriculum and having tutor responsibility.

LGPCD Pay Scale: 6, Point 12 (Range 12-17)
Term time plus one week (40wpa to include Inset Days)
Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £22,571.00 - £24,920.00 per annum
Actual Salary: From £17,115.01 (point 12) under 5 years' service to £19,144.83 (point 17) over 5 years' service, per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience and length of service

We have an exciting new opening for a Senior Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 14-19 on the College site. The role includes:

· To work in partnership with Class Teachers to support pupil' needs and learning in line with the college curriculum, codes of practice and college policies and procedures;

· To cover classes as required in the absence of the teacher. Senior HLTAs will plan, prepare and deliver lessons to progress pupils' learning and assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment as agreed with the teacher;

· To plan and deliver the Wellbeing curriculum and Environment curriculum in liaison with the Class Teacher and to undertake tutor responsibility.
