FTE: £18,933 - £19,312 pro rata
Actual salary £15,285 (Point 4 under 5 years' service)
35 hours per week
5 days per week, 44.5 weeks per year, term time only
We are looking for a well organised, efficient person to assist with admin and pupil data. The successful candidate must have a high standard of written and spoken English as well as good numeracy skills and be able to use a range of IT software.
Main aspects of the role involve:
- Managing the Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) review process and paperwork
- Pupil data records, administration and analysis using school system (Arbor)
- Reception and first aid cover, welcoming visitors and communicating with parents/carers
- Administration of meetings including calendar organisation and minute taking
- General support to the SLT, HR, Finance Manager and School Support Team
Experience of Microsoft Office, Arbor and the EHCP process would be an advantage.

Information about the School
Kingswode Hoe is a special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. We take pupils aged between 5 and 16 (Y1 - Y11) living in the Colchester area. All pupils are admitted to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of Essex Local Authority based at Essex House in Colchester. We are currently funded for 151 places.
