Part-Time Catering Manager Vacancy
St Giles' Primary school is looking for a fabulous Catering Manager who is passionate about food, nutrition and eating healthily.
Our kitchen is at the heart of our school and we are looking for someone who really wants to be part of our fun and enthusiastic team.
Ideally you should hold the Level 3 Food Safety Certificate, have experience of working in a similar environment; but we are more than willing to provide training if needed.If you are currently a Kitchen Assistant looking to take on your first Catering Manager role, this could be the role for you. Enthusiasm and creativity is warmly welcomed, as wewould love to reintroduce regular 'themed' lunches, parents breakfasts, end of term lunch celebrations etc. We welcome your ideas!
If you can, prepare and present food to a high standard and have good organisational and interpersonal skills we would be delighted to hear from you.
Visits to our school are warmly welcomed.
The hours required are 9.30am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday term time (39 weeks plus holiday pay per year) .
Salary Band 5 point 8-11 of the Essex Schools Local Authority pay scales April 2021, on a permanent contract.
Start date 30th September or later depending on notice period.
