Administrative Assistant
LSA Scales 2 and 3 points 3-5
32.5 Hours per week for 39 weeks during term time (38 weeks plus 5 non pupil days)

Holy Family School are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, happy and caring person to work in our busy and friendly school office. The successful candidate will have a calm manner, be highly organised, motivated, and have excellent ICT skills. Experience of working in a school office and knowledge of SIMS will be a distinct advantage. You will be expected to prioritise your own workload and use your initiative and have the ability to work in an environment where there are regular interruptions!
You will provide pupil care and support the safeguarding and welfare of pupils including responsibility for first aid and will play a key role in supporting the operations of the school office, including reception duties, clerical, administrative support, maintenance of computerised and manual records, management information systems and communications.
The successful candidates will:
Be able to work as part of a team, as well as being able to show initiative.
Will be able to communicate with children, parents and staff effectively
Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Have previous experience working in a primary setting or other phase
Have excellent ICT skills with a willingness to learn
Be committed to making an impact on our children's education.
Have a flexible and cheerful outlook, be reliable and have a good sense of humour
