We are looking for a practitioner for maternity cover in a well established private day nursery.
The successful candidate will;
Be a motivated member of the team.
Level 3 Early years education and childcare qualification or equivelent preferred.
Have excellent written and verbal english and a good understanding of childrens development together with the EYFS curricullum (2021).
Excellent communication skills with children, staff and parents.
Be a key person responsible for childrens learning and development, planning and record keeping.
Have a good working knowledge of safeguarding including Prevent and FGM.
Knowledge of SEND and first aid is desirable.
Knowledge of using Tapestry online learning journal preferred.
Be available to work between 7.30 am and 7pm Monday to Friday
Occasional evening or saturday training / staff meetings
The post is a minimum of 20 hours per week (with the possiblility of more) dependent on operational needs and shift patterns.
The successful applicant must be able to undertake and provide a clear enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
