Required from September 2021. We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Design & Technology to join our successful department. You will teach both KS3 and KS4 and there will, for the right candidate, be the opportunity to teach 'A' Level Design and Technology. We have multiple classes for GCSE Design Technology & Engineering as well as Vocational Awards in Construction and Hospitality and Catering. A TLR may be available for a candidate who can lead Engineering.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate students. A strong team player, self-motivated and committed to continuing professional development. You will enjoy working with our motivated, well-behaved pupils and with a supportive and hard-working staff in this over-subscribed 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school. Our new purpose-built classrooms for food and textiles opened in 2020 providing an excellent teaching and learning environment.
