Cook / Assistant Catering Manager
Position Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Term: Permanent
Pay Range: Scale 5-6 (range 8-12) - dependant on experience
Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday (32.5hrs per week), Term-time only +2 weeks
Interview Date: Friday 16th April 2021
The Governing Body of De La Salle School is looking for a Cook/Assistant Catering Manager to join the catering team.
As a member of this team you will need to be flexible, adaptable and responsible. You will need to contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen by supervising the day to day operation of the kitchen including food preparation and service of food and beverages. Support the Catering Manager in being responsible for implementing Covid secure practices in relation to food preparation.
De La Salle is a caring and thriving school with a committed and dedicated staff. Whilst the succesful candidate is not required to be Catholic, you would be expected to support and follow the Catholic ethos of the School.
The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS (including children's barred list check), medical clearances and satisfacty references.
