Southminster Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint two enthusiastic, well-motivated teachers who can join our successful team.

Southminster is a town which lies about 3 miles from Burnham-on-Crouch and 10 miles southeast from Maldon. St Leonard's Church is located in the centre of the town, it dates from the 15th century and close to the church lies Southminster C of E Primary School. The school enjoys a close relationship with the church. Southminster C of E Primary admits children from 4 - 11 years of age and currently 204 children on roll. The school has experienced significant growth over the past year and we expect this to continue. The school is fortunate enough to be located on a large site including two buildings and playgrounds as well as a large field. There is a swimming pool on site which is run by the school and our children enjoy weekly lessons as part of their curriculum as well as having access to the swimming school who provide evening and weekend classes.In 2018, Ofsted judged our school as Requires Improvement but recognised that there was 'good' leadership as well as personal development, behaviour and welfare. Southminster continue on the path to good and we are looking for a strong, committed teacher to continue this journey and take our school to the next level. The school is part of the Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust.

At Southminster School we all work together to recognise individual needs and support every child.
