The Endeavour Co-operative Academy (part of Keys Co-operative Academy Trust) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dedicated Assistant Headteacher to contribute to high quality leadership at The Endeavour Co-operative Academy, following promotion of the current post holder.
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of the Senior Leadership Team as The Endeavour welcomes our first cohort of Key Stage 5 pupils. The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher & Headteacher, leading 130 (rising to 170 by September 2023) pupils & 50 staff in a school recognised as 'good' by OFSTED in 2015. The Endeavour joined Keys Co-operative Academy Trust in December 2018, when converting to an academy. The school is part of ESSET, the association of Essex special schools. Although experience in a special school will be desirable, it is not a necessity, as potential to manage the demands of the role will be more important.
We encourage visits prior to submitting an application (subject to current COVID restrictions).
Please do not send your CV, an online application form must be completed and submitted to the Trust (the link to the application form is available below).
The job description for the Assistant Headteacher does not clarify the specific tasks for this role, as these will be finalised depending on the skills of the successful applicant & how these skills fit as part of SLT
