AboutLexden Lodge Kindergarten
We are proud to be an "Outstanding" Nursery yet again and are looking for Nursery Practitioners who are passionate about providing excellent childcare for children. Established in 2005, Lexden Lodge Kindergarten has rapidly became one of the leading private nursery schools in Essex, winning numerous awards and accolades. We have built up a remarkable reputation in the childcare community and in the locality, verified by our Accreditation through Day Nurseries Association. We now welcome over 180 children into our kindergarten and are proud to have seen so many young faces develop to become smart and fully rounded individuals.
Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain the safety of children within your care at all times, both indoors and outside.
Be fully aware of safeguarding and provide safe, creative and developmentally appropriate play activities, with regard to health and safety, ensuring that each child is working towards their optimum development.
Work in a non-discriminatory way, supporting the ideals of equal opportunities and respecting cultures and traditions.
Requirements:
Nursery Practitioner must hold a current childcare qualification (Level 3 is expected) including knowledge of and ability to follow the requirements of EYFS
Previous experience of working with young children
Satisfactory Disclosure Barring Services Check and references

Parents are not allowed in the nursery. Staff wear visors during conversations with parents. All recognised precautions taken

We are passionate in offering an excellent working environment where staff are valued and respected. We have a mentoring programme where experienced staff mentor and train newly qualified staff members. We offer CPD sessions across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
