Pastoral Administrative Assistant - Part Time (Maternity Cover)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Weeks: Term Time only
Salary: Scale 4 Points 6-7 + fringe: £19,698 - £20,092 + £898 pro rata (actual salary £17,578 - £17,914)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, well organised and enthusiastic administrator to work closely with the school's pastoral team and Year Progress Leaders. The successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate experience of building positive working relationships with young people and communicating with teachers, parents and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required together with a calm, positive and professional approach. Experience in Word is essential and the knowledge of SIMS and working in a school office is desirable but not essential as full training will be available. The environment is diverse and fast-changing so the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and on your own initiative is essential.
