Head of Food Technology

The Boswells School is looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Food Technology. The role involves working with our Head of Computing, Business and Technology Faculty to co-ordinate all aspects of our Food Technology provision at Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will also be expected to deliver high quality lessons to complement an already strong team. Within our provision, we offer GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition. The ability to teach Child Development at Key Stage 4 would also be desirable, but not essential.
Our results at GCSE were excellent in 2020, with our students achieving a Progress 8 score of 0.26 across the school.

The Boswells School is an 11-18, very successful, popular and oversubscribed school in the Springfield area of Chelmsford, Essex. The school has a long standing reputation for achieving high levels of academic excellence and was judged to be 'Good' in all areas by OFSTED in February 2017. This role is crucial to the continued progress of the school towards outstanding.

The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community.
