Full time SENCO / Teacher (0.4/0.6) ( the successful candidate will take on a full time position with responsibility for SEND 40% and Class teacher 60%)
Start Date January 2021
Pay range Depending on experience
Layer -de-la-Haye Primary school are looking to appoint a talented and inspirational SENCO/Teacher, to join our hard-working team.
The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner
Hold the National SENCO award (or be willing to train to achieve this)
Have an understanding, knowledge and experience of how to support pupils with Autism, ADHD and those with medical needs.
Have a shared responsibility for the planning, teaching and assessment of a class
Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
Show a commitment for the school's vision and its promotion of the Gospel Values
Demonstrate an understanding of Assessment For Learning techniques and the Growth Mindset culture
Be motivated by their work and strive to further their own professional development
Be committed to the safeguarding of all children
