We are looking for a dynamic and creative professional to join our friendly team of staff at this popular school for pupils with moderate/complex learning difficulties. We have an exciting opportunity to work in The Arts and technology under the direction of a forward-thinking curriculum leader. As an HLTA, you will be expected to support pupils across the school (KS1-KS4) and be prepared to cover classes for absence across a range of subjects where required.
The successful applicant will need to have recent school-based experience including supporting pupils with SEN, but do not necessarily have to already hold HLTA status. Interest in, or experience of, art and/or music therapy would be advantageous.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills in working with SEN pupils in a special school setting. A commitment to working as part of a team and to developing your own practice is essential.
Applicants must hold English and mathematics qualifications, at least GCSE grade C or equivalent.
SEAX Trust application form must be completed - available on the school website, or on request from the school office.
