Are you a qualified and experienced Heavy vehicle/plant Mechanic that could be interested in a career change?

We are looking to recruit a permanent, part time 2 days a week (14.8 hours) HGV specialist, to deliver, assess and develop our learners experience, enabling them to achieve their learning goals in accordance with the college's values and ethos.
Teacher Automotives
Salary: Qualified up to £15,413.60, Unqualified £12,210.80 per annum
Location: Harlow College

The programs the automotive team delivers are designed to engage and motivate students who are interested in learning about the maintenance of motor vehicles and the various roles that are available in the retail motor industry. They utilise practical based investigations and assessments of the motor vehicle and its sub-systems. This is supported by the use of dedicated computer software for the delivery of theoretical knowledge. The programs can supplement progress to appropriate destinations, such as apprenticeships and employment.
We're looking for you if you have:
· Level 3 qualification in Heavy vehicle or equivalent in the relevant subject area or a degree or equivalent.
· Industry experience
· A Teaching qualification, or the willingness to undertake one. Full training whilst in the job available.
