Senior Science Technician
37 hrs pw, 38 weeks per year

Salary : Scale 5, point 8-11 (actual £16,4860

We are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Science technician to join our vibrant and driven Science Faculty. Practical work brings science to life and allows the students to get a hands on experience of scientific concepts and is a key aspect of teaching and learning within the Science Faculty.

Working under the guidance of the Faculty team leader, they will provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the faculty across the science curriculum, by preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment across all 3 sciences.

Experience working in a laboratory setting and/ or in an educational setting is essential, along with a higher level science qualification.

The appointment is term time only, 38 weeks per year, 37 hours per week. Part time working would be considered.
