Safeguarding Administration Assistant
37 hours per week
(Actual working hours 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm, Friday) Term time only
Band 2, Pt Range 3 - 5 (April 2019 pay scales)
Actual salary £15,436 to £16,039 per annum Inc Outer Fringe Allowance
Required: April 2020 - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
We require a temporary administration assistant for safeguarding to be a point of contact and support for the designated safeguarding leaders and those involved in safeguarding around the school. This varied role will involve organising, management and upkeep of records and student files, collection of information relating to reported incidents, producing and distributing documentation for meetings, communicating with parents, staff, students and external agencies, attending meetings to take minutes, as well as other general administration duties.
The successful candidate will need to understand the importance and significance of safeguarding and confidentiality. You will need to have a proven track record of excellent ICT, administration, organisational, communication, recording keeping and data analysis skills.
Previous experience of working within the education sector and a good understanding of safeguarding and the referrals process is essential.
