Library and Careers Officer
Essex Schools' Pay Scale 6 National Pay Spine 12-17 £21,589 - £23,836 (pro rata salary would be £17,743-£19,590) - subject to 2020 pay award
35 hours per week, term time plus training days (39 working weeks per year, plus holiday)
Required to start as soon as possible.
The Cornelius Vermuyden School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated professional to run our Library and offer careers advice to students. The post holder must hold, or be working towards, the Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification.
Specific responsibilities include:-
- Maintaining the Library as an effective resource and an inspiring learning base;
- To plan Library policy and produce data and reports;
- To provide appropriate careers help and advice;
- To write student careers action plans.
