Edith Borthwick School requires a self-motivated, reliable, multi-skilled, proactive and organised person to join our premises team.
37 hours per week. This is a full time post i.e. all year round. The hours will be split into two shifts (7:00am - 3:30pm) & (10am-6:30pm). Pattern to be discussed and agreed with Estates/Premises Manager.
The main duties of the caretaker include security, cleaning, maintenance of the inside and outside environment, liaising with contractors and other duties directed by the Estates Manager as required. Scale 7 applicants will require a higher level of skills in order to reduce the need for outside contractors.
It is essential that you can work effectively as part of a team and you should be able to relate well to students and interact with them in a friendly and positive manner.
