Salary - Band 2 (CCT Thurrock Academies Pay Scale)
Point Range: 5 - 10 (£17,219 - £18,381 FTE) - this will be pro-rata
Hours: 12noon - 1.15pm (6 ¼ hours per week), 5 days per week, term time only
Location: St Mary's Catholic Primary, Tilbury
St Mary's Catholic Primary are looking to appoint 2 x Midday Assistants on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for an individual who is reliable, caring, adaptable and enthusiastic who enjoys interacting with children and who likes working as part of a team.
Previous experience of working in a school would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
The primary role will be to maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the lunchtime break. Duties will include supervising the dining hall, administering first aid and supporting children's play.
Our friendly team will support you and training will be provided.

Information about the Academy
St Mary's Catholic Primary is located at Tilbury and is part of a multi academy trust (The Christus Catholic Trust), which currently has 5 primary schools. Currently catering for around 210 pupils, plus nursery. St Mary's is a single form entry located in the heart of a diverse community. The latest Ofsted Inspection rates them as a 'good' school.
