LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

LGS Scale 3 + London Fringe Allowance (pro rata)

25 hours per week - 8.55am - 2.45pmMon - Fri Term-time only (actual starting salary - £10,632)

With additional paid hours between 8.00am and 8.55am to cover our early morning provision (£9.57 per hour).

Learning Support Assistants are required to support a variety of students with additional and specific learning needs in the classroom (8.55 am - 2.45 pm daily). There is also a requirement to work with students offsite at an alternative provision. Experience is desirable but a willingness to learn is essential as well as having good numeracy and literacy skills. GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths is required however, if not already gained a committment to work towards a GCSE whilst in post would be acceptable.
