As part of the Rayleigh Schools Trust, Glebe Primary School is seeking to appoint a resilient, effective and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant for 22 hours 45 minutes per week. The post is for 38 weeks per year, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 8:45am - 3pm (12:15pm - 1:15pm lunch), Wednesday and Friday 8:45am -12.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic LSA to join our friendly, caring and supportive team on a permanent basis. This role will include supporting in class, working with small groups delivering a range of interventions and working with pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis.
The successful candidate will need to have:
Experience supporting teaching and learning, ideally in a school environment
Knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum
A positive and proactive approach
The ability to work as part of a team
High expectations for all pupils
Understanding of a range of SEND
