Are seeking to appoint Support Assistant
Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2020
Based at Thameside Primary School, Manor Road, Grays Essex, RM17 6EF
Required: ASAP
Salary: Band 2
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break) 32.5 hours per week, term time only
Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Support Assistant to provide clerical, project management support and IT support to the school under the supervision of the Support Officer at Thameside Primary School. As a Support Assistant you will be responsible for a range of secretarial, IT and administrative tasks, as well as ensuring the IT equipment is checked, clean, functioning and in the right place at the right time.
Other duties include:
• Provide IT and clerical support ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times
• To answer and direct telephone enquiries
• Provide administrative support, e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, data input and data gathering
• To retrieve and update information on manual and computer based systems
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required
• Liaise with schools & staff to provide & gather information
• Ensure all IT equipment is clean and fit for purpose
Manage requests for IT equipment and resources to support learning
Collecting and storing IT equipment and materials safely
Maintain IT equipment; undertake basic repairs and basic modifications reporting all damage to the Network Manager
The successful candidate will be expected to have a good level of Maths and English
