Hair and Beauty Instructor

Unqualified Teacher 1-6

Actual Salary £6,110 (salary negotiable according to qualifications/experience)

Part Time : 12 hours per week

Beauchamps High School is an 'OUTSTANDING' 11-18 school, with examination results at all levels significantly above the National picture. In November 2014 OFSTED recognised the exceptional education we deliver and stated that "Teaching is outstanding. Teachers know their subjects extremely well and help students to gain knowledge quickly and then use it skilfully and confidently in all their work".

An experienced Hair and Beauty instructor is required to assist with the delivery of the VTECT Hair and Beauty and the ASDAN Hair courses that are run for our KS4 pupils.

Ideal candidates will:

The successful candidate will be strong team player and excellent communicator and will be able to demonstrate

· Practical experience of Hair and Beauty

· Experience of delivering training in the workplace and/or in an education environment

· The ability to work with other and independently

· The ability to deal with challenges and work under pressure

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Hair and Beauty team and offers the chance to develop skills within an educational setting with further opportunities for training within another subject area.
