Glebe Primary School seeks to appoint a highly motivated and excellent Teacher or trainee Teacher of the Deaf.
Our Enhanced Provision has welcoming, friendly and motivated staff who provide specialist provision that is inclusive and tailored to our children's needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Have or are willing to train and achieve Level 2 BSL.
- Have a good knowledge of how hearing impaired children learn.
Work alongside colleagues to provide lessons that aid our children to progress.
Complete Annual Reviews. - Coordinate Educational Health Care Plan meetings, liaising with a wide range of professionals.
Develop good working relationships with children, staff and parents.
Support our children to access the National Curriculum within the mainstream setting.
Advise mainstream staff about deaf awareness.
Have a good knowledge of audiology and changes within deaf education.
