Science Technician

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic science technician to join our small team. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a science classroom, or be willing to learn. The post involves supporting the science department in the delivery of teaching, by helping prepare, clean and clear away lesson materials. The successful applicant will be a team player, organised, with good time management skills.

The hours of work will be 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required Term Time, plus 5 staff training days, so 39 weeks, working between the hours of 08.00 am to 14.30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch break.

The pay band for the role is Band 2 to mid-point £18,065 - £18,795.

The actual salary for the role is £12,444.87 to £12,947.76 (under 5 years' service) and £12,669.60 to £13,181.58 (over 5 years' service)
