Job Description

The Endeavour Co-operative Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to contribute to high quality teaching and learning at The Endeavour Co-operative Academy.

The successful candidate will teach PE across the age range, which is currently 5 - 16. We are in the process of applying to extend the age range of the school to include a Post-16 provision, starting in the next couple of years. PE lessons involve swimming lessons for primary pupils.

The Endeavour Co-operative Academy is a 5 - 16 school for 120 young people, all with an EHCP. The main need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. We have a dedicated Physical Education Teaching Assistant, who supports in all PE lessons. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.
