Dyslexia Specialist Teaching Assistant
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and friendly teaching assistant to deliver 1-1 and small group interventions to pupils with dyslexia. You will be working within our SEND department and be supported to achieve Level 4 Dyslexia Action Certificate in Supporting Literacy in Learners with Dyslexia.
The successful candidate will have:
· Previous experience with supporting pupils in a secondary school context, preferably with dyslexic pupils.
· Qualifications to A-level standard or equivalent
The pay band for the role is band 4 to mid-point (scp 19 to 24), which is £24,799 to £27,905.
The hours of work for the role will be 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.20 to 4.30 (negotiable) and this will be required term time, so 38 weeks in total.
The actual salary for the role is £11,080.74 to £12,468.57 (under 5 years' service) or £11,286.41 to £12,700.00 (over 5 years' service).
