Mid Day Assistant
Band 1, Point 3 (approx. £9.36 per hour)
Working hours 12:00-13:30 (1.5hrs) 5 days a week, term time only
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join our existing lunchtime team as an MDA.
Key responsibilities for this post includes:
MDA
· Securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the lunchtime break
· Supervision of pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises
· Maintaining good order and discipline of pupils
Successful candidates will need to:
be enthusiastic and caring individuals
be calm, flexible team players who are able to work on their own initiative
be enthusiastic about the children's individual talents and needs

Information about the School
Tendring Primary is small, popular school located close to the Suffolk/Essex Border, attracting children from a wide area across the Tendring Peninsular. We currently have 190 children on roll. The School is set in approximately a three acre site with original buildings dating back to 1896. The school has extended over the years to include new buildings and extensive outdoor learning facilities.
