Trust Human Resources/Recruitment Officer
Required October 2019
Salary: Band 5 point 18 - 26 (£19,043 - £24,110 - Actual Salary)
Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm)
(39 weeks of the year, inclusive of training days plus 2 additional weeks)
Due to further expansion of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust we are seeking to appoint an accomplished HR Officer with excellent interpersonal skills and has a wealth of experience in resourcing talent to join our central Human Resources team.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Trust HR Manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional officer who, ideally has experience of working in the education sector and has the ability to manage their own workload in a rapidly changing environment.
The Trust's Recruitment officer will be responsible for the end to end process of attracting, recruiting and completing the pre-employment checks for all internal and external candidates.
The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills as you will be the first point of contact for successful candidates and manage them through the pre-employment process. You will need to be highly organised to manage the high level of emails, documents and telephone calls and demonstrate flexibility to manage your workload to meet competing priorities.
The role is office and desk based but there are occasions when you will attend operational team meetings, support job interviews and represent the Trust at career events. You may be asked to help facilitate recruitment training in any one of our schools
You will be involved in all areas of personnel including recruitment, managing sickness, absence and overtime, advisory in line with policy to ensure our legal responsibilities are fulfilled.
Working collaboratively with staff in our trust schools offering guidance and support to managers on HR issues.

Qualified to CIPD level is desirable but not essential.
