Pastoral Assistant- Pupil Premium (Progress Leader )
Band 3M SCP 6 - 11 (£19,171 - £21,166pa FTE)
37 hours per week - 40 weeks pa (actual salary £16,692 - £18,429pa)
We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic individual to work closely with the Achievement Co-ordinator and SLT Pupil Premium Lead to identify barriers to learning, plan and deliver effective support to a range of PPG pupils to raise levels of achievement.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with children (11- 16) and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Evidence of a good standard of literacy and numeracy (level 2 or equivalent) and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required. An effective team player with strong organisational skills and a flexible approach to workload is essential.
This is a new position and provide the opportunity for the successful candidate to make a real difference.
