LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (with British sign language 1)

Required September 2019 (fixed term contract initially until 31 August 2020)

Band 2, Point 11 Actual salary £11,603

Hours are 28.75 per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 3.30pm, term time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed learning support assistant to join our hearing impaired unit to support our teaching staff and hearing impaired students. You should have a good general education and an ability to foster good relationships, whilst demonstrating patience and sensitivity. Also, you should be able to work flexibly as part of an established team. British Sign Language Level 1 is essential, BSL 2 is desirable.
