Cover Supervisor
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, (8.30am to 3.00pm) Term time only
Band 3 to mid-point (Actual salary £13,206 - £14,581) plus outer fringe allowance
Required: ASAP/Immediate
We require a part time Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes, who will undertake pre-set work during the absence of teachers. The role also involves supervising students in 1:1 and small group intervention situations when not used in the capacity of a cover supervisor; supervising school clubs, and occasional invigilation.
Applicants will need to have a minimum of GCSE English & maths Grade C or equivalent, although a degree would be desirable, a sound academic background, including a working knowledge of ICT. Successful recent experience working with children of the relevant age and previous classroom experience is desirable but not essential.
We particularly welcome applications from those aspiring to become teachers who require classroom experience before commencing training courses.
