Learning Support Assistant - Alternative Provision
(Fixed Term Contract 1 Year - 1st September 2019 - 31st August 2020)
based at; East Tilbury Primary School
Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury, RM18 8SB
Pay band 2 point 10 (Actual Salary £11,301)
8.45 am-3.15pm Monday-Friday, 27 hours & 5 minutes per week
50 Minute Lunchbreak (Unpaid)
Term Time only
We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants for our Alternative Provision to take on a crucial role within our school. The successful candidate should be familiar with SEMH and have previous experience of working with vulnerable children. They will possess the ability to make quick decisions and be a team player.

You will work in partnership with class teachers, to support learning in line with the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, codes of practice, school policies and procedures.

The candidates will preferably have relevant NVQ qualifications or equivalent. They must have a good standard of English and Mathematics and basic computer skills.

East Tilbury Primary School & Nursery converted to Academy Status in April 2012 as a partner in St Cleres Co-operative Academy Trust. We are a three/four form entry school in a semi-rural location, only a 5 minute walk from East Tilbury Station which is on the C2C Fenchurch - Shoeburyness Line. .
