We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant/midday assistant/after-school club leader. Applicants need to be flexible and willing to work throughout the school as a teaching assistant in class, running interventions and/or one to one support as and when required, as a midday assistant and as the after-school club lead. Relevant training would be given; however some experience of working in schools would be preferable.

Hours : Monday - Friday 12 - 5pm
Job Title: Teaching Assistant, Midday Assistant, After School Club Lead
Grade: Band 2
Reports to :Headteacher, Class Teacher, Senior MDA
Responsible for : Leading after school club 3-5pm, afternoon interventions, teaching assistant duties, midday assistant duties
Liaison with :Teaching staff, support staff, Headteacher, pupils.
Job Purpose :To work in partnership with other midday assistants to deliver safe and engaging lunchtimes, class teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will need:
· Experience of working with children;
· Confident skills in English and Mathematics;
· Good communication skills;
· To be positive, enthusiastic, energetic and a team player;
· A clear commitment to the safeguarding of all children.
