Catering Manager 27.5 hours per week, term time only.
LGPS (April 2019) Band 3 p6-17
Our friendly and happy schools have a vacancy in our successful catering provision.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced and friendly catering manager to prepare fresh home cooked food for our pupils.
This is an important role which involves catering for the Junior and Infant schools We are keen to maintain our excellent current provision as we believe that school food is an important part of our whole school ethos.
The post holder can expect to work as part of a committed and supportive school team.
Experience Needed:
Proven experience of working in a similar environment
Experience in supervising small staff team.
Ability in managing a budget
Menu planning
We work with Essex County Council support team and are committed to staff development training and will ensure that this will be available as necessary.
We are committed tosafeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children, and have robust recruitment and selection procedures. We will ask for appropriate referees and the successful applicant will undergo an enhanced criminal record check
