We are looking to appoint friendly, motivated and self confident people to support a child with a physical disability. A job share would be considered.
This will be a 1:1 position that will support the child in the classroom, moving around the school and at break times. The role will involve supporting the child in their academic development, an element of personal care and will require some physical handling.
The person required willl need to be able to work on their own initiative and be able to work effectively with parents, school staff and outside agencies to implement advice and strategies.
Visits to the school are warmly welcome.
The school is commited to safeguarding and promotes the welfare of children and expects our staff and volunteers to support this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and medical check.
