The Boswells School is looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Physics. The role involves working with our Head of Science Faculty to co-ordinate all aspects of our Physics provision at Key 5. The successful candidate will also be expected to deliver high quality lessons to develop an already strong Science team.
Our Science results at GCSE were excellent with 66% of our students achieving a 9-4 grade in Combined Science. In GCSE Triple science Biology, Physics and Chemistry achieved over 98% Grades 9-4. This was above the national averages. Our performance at A Level was also very successful with Physics achieving 57% A*-B grades and 100% A*-E grades. This was also matched with outstanding Biology and Chemistry results.
You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated leaders at senior and middle leadership levels and a commitment to the professional development of staff. Science is a core element of our curriculum for all students and the role will allow you to lead a significant area of the Science Faculty.

The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community.
