HEAD OF DEPARTMENT - SCIENCE
Teachers' Pay Scale + negotiable TLR payment
(dependant on experience)
September 2019 start
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic Head of Department for our flourishing Science Department. Outcomes in Science have seen a three year trend of improvement, and our GCSE results in Science are amongst the highest in Essex.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate dynamic and creative classroom practice and evidence of successful outcomes; combined with a genuine passion for their subject, and the desire to inspire this passion in others.
Visits to the Academy are welcomed and encouraged. The Academy is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people and will conduct full recruitment checks including a full DBS check.
