DEPUTY HEAD OF SCHOOL: TEACHING, LEARNING & CURRICULUM

LANSDOWNE PRIMARY ACADEMY

Salary: Leadership Pay Scale L12 - L16

Start Date: September 2019

The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London. We are looking to recruit an outstanding, determined and creative Deputy Head of School for Lansdowne Primary Academy, a 3FE primary school, with a 90 place nursery.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Head of School to provide the best possible opportunities for all our young people. Applicants to this post must have a proven track record in effective teaching and leadership; they must be thoroughly committed to community regeneration through education; must be professionally generous and be prepared to focus relentlessly on teaching, learning, the curriculum and ethos.
