HEAD OF EDUCATION
We seek to appoint an exceptional Head of Education to this outstanding provision for young people with mental health problems.
The successful candidate will share our belief that young people in hospital deserve the highest quality education to meet their individual needs.
We are interested in an application from you if you are passionate about working to provide the best opportunities for our students, can motivate and inspire others and base your strategies on a real understanding of how education contributes to the treatment of young people in hospital.

Information about the School
The St Aubyn Centre Therapeutic Education Department is the specialist education provisions for young people admitted to the NHS adolescent psychiatric unit in Colchester, Essex. We provide education for young people with serious mental health difficulties aged 13 to 18 .
The education department works closely with the nursing, medical and therapeutic teams at the centre to support the young people and enable them to return to the community as quickly as possible. We have strong links with local schools as well as with other community organisations.
