HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT
Required ASAP
Permanent contract
37 hours per week (8.15am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs, 8.15am-4.00pm Fri)
We require a dynamic, positive, hardworking person who:
Has a love of learning and commitment to their own development
Has recent, successful primary school experience teaching whole classes
Is self-motivated with high expectations of self and others
Can use his/her own initiative, showing resilience.
The successful candidate will teach whole classes across the school, covering for PPA/NQT release and staff absence. He/she will also support individuals and groups to make accelerated progress through targeted intervention work both in and out of the classroom.

We are a two form entry primary school and nursery set in extensive grounds on the periphery of Ockendon Village. Our school is only a 3 minute walk from South Ockendon station which is on the C2C Fenchurch to Shoeburyness line and within easy reach (5 minutes) of the A13 and A127 into London/Southend and the Dartford Bridge.
