TEACHER OF MUSIC

MPR

Required for September 2019.

An enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Music is required to join a highly successful Expressive Arts Department. The person appointed will be expected to teach Music across all Key Stages including 'A' Level and the International Baccalaureate

The post would be an ideal opportunity for a new entrant to the profession although equally attractive to a more experienced colleague. We have a positive commitment to supporting Newly Qualified teachers.

In 2018, the Music department achieved 63% 9-5, 75% 4-7 (ALPS 5) grades at GCSE Music. There is an extensive extra-curricular and concert programme with over 100 students having musical instrument lessons in school.

The school has a reputation for success built on teamwork, good relations and shared values. All members of staff working at the school support the aims and ethos of the school and participate in the extensive visits programme.
