Job Description

Woodville Primary School is a vibrant and successful school, we endeavour to make the lunchtime a safe, secure and happy time for all our pupils. To enable us to do this we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our team of Midday Assistants supervising our friendly children during their lunch break.

You will need to:

· Assist the children whilst having their lunch in the school hall and afterwards with the clearing away of tables and chairs, ensuring the hall is ready for the start of the afternoon session.

· Helping to encourage good behaviour with a positive attitude, following the schools 'Steps to Success'.

· Encouraging participation and leading games/activities for all children once on the playground.

· Administering basic first aid

The successful candidate will have good inter-personal skills and enjoy working with the children and as part of a team. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for further responsibilities and details of the post.
