KS2 Teaching Assistant
Band 2 Point 3-5 (New National Pay Spine), depending on experience
Required April 2019
17.5 hours per week
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to be part of our caring, competent and jolly team of Support staff. The successful candidate will be required for five mornings a week during term time. The role is a classroom based TA, supporting learning of individuals and groups of pupils, particularly in English and Maths in a KS2 class.
Candidates must have:
· A good educational background including at least GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics and ideally, NVQ Level 2 Supporting Children in Education
· Some experience of working with children in an educational setting
You should also be prepared to work in partnership with the class teacher, taking direction while also using your own initiative and be firm, kind, patient, consistent, flexible and approachable.
