Geography is a thriving, extremely popular subject and integral part of West Hatch High School across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. Students love the subject because of the creative way it is delivered by our experienced and collegiate team. Results place the department in the top 10% of schools nationally for A Level, and GCSE results that are consistently in line with, and above national average. An ICT suite within the department and a commitment to exploring the world through fieldwork, including the D of E Bronze Award and World Challenge, we demonstrate that we aim to develop and stimulate students both in and out of the classroom.
We are looking for someone who believes in building strong relationships with students and is willing to go the extra mile to support them in being successful both in and outside of school. You would be expected to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences to all students across all key stages.
This is an exciting time to join West Hatch with an expansion of 350 students, links being developed with UEL to create a bespoke MA pathway for staff and a thriving Sixth Form in the top 25% of schools Nationally over the last three years; come and be a part of our future.
