FULL TIME TEACHER OF A LEVEL PSYCHOLOGY (NQT or TRAINEE)
With the potential to also teach either Criminology or Health & Social Care
Salary based on Sixth Form Colleges' Pay Scale, which following qualification rises on a scale up to £38,748.p.a. The initial starting salary for an NQT would be between £25,000 p.a. and £27,000 p.a. depending upon qualification and experience. For a trainee it is likely to be approx. £23,000 p.a., and the College will also pay the PGCE fees.
We require a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology graduate looking to complete their NQT year, with the potential to also teach Criminology or Health & Social Care or Sociology. You should be committed to teaching 16-19 year old students at this highly successful Sixth Form College.
You should have a good honours degree in Psychology or a closely related subject and ideally a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification; however, there is opportunity for those without a teaching qualification to undertake a Teacher Training programme.
