Are you a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher who is looking for a new challenge or to start their career in a supportive teaching school?

Our MFL department is seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner of Modern Foreign Languages from September 2019 onwards. This vacancy provides an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced and dynamic team in a high quality and well-resourced environment.

It would be of interest both to experienced and newly qualified teachers, who have a passion for languages, pedagogy and always strive to be remarkable. Our aim is to create remarkable language learners who can use the target language with aplomb and equip them with the skills to move onto the next stage in their language learning career.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Be an excellent MFL teacher, with the skill to develop conceptual understanding across a range of ages and abilities;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support our faculty pedagogy;
  • Have the ability to engage pupils and build excellent relationships;
  • Be committed to their own continuing professional development.
  • A genuine commitment to making a positive contribution to the academy.

Tendring Technology College (TTC) is a large successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school, which has two campuses; Frinton Campus (14-18) and Thorpe Campus (11-14). Tendring Technology College (TTC) serves a wide catchment area in the Tendring District that is a mix of rural and coastal environment with easy access to the vibrant town of Colchester with London Liverpool Street a straightforward train journey. TTC is unique in that it is a split site College with approximately 1900 students. The Thorpe campus is dedicated to our Key Stage 3 students and nearly 5 miles away is the Frinton campus for our Key Stage 4 and 5 students.
