Learning Support Assistant
Fixed Term to 31st August 2020
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities.The successful candidates will need to have GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and maths, and ability to deal with challenging behaviour and to motivate and encourage students.
The pay band for the role is band 2 to mid-point (scp 11 to 14), which is £17,007 - £17,681.
The hours of work for the role will be 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days (39 weeks in total).
The actual salary for the role is £10,934.95 to £11,368.31 (under 5 years' service) or £11,132.42 to £11,573.60 (over 5 years' service).
